Congratulations to TST Group’s Owner, Maire-Claire Reid, who has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Family Business category of the prestigious Institute of Directors NI Awards.

According to the judges, each shortlisted candidate “has a deep understanding of what it means to lead” in common.

Maire-Claire describes having “transport in her blood”. She was just 20 years old when TST was established and having just celebrated her 30th birthday has been instrumental in growing the business over the last 10 years.  Today, TST has more than 200 employees and services a range of blue-chip customers.

As well as her many achievements over the years, Maire-Claire has also recently been appointed as the new Vice Chair of the Logistics UK Freight Council in NI, further demonstrating my credibility in the transport industry.

Maire-Claire had this to say about the shortlist announcement: “I am honoured to have been shortlisted for IoD Northern Ireland Family Business Director of the Year. Thank you to IoD and the panel of judges for this recognition.”

The winner will be announced at the award ceremony on 9th December at the Merchant Hotel in Belfast.

We are so proud of Maire-Claire and wish her all the best of luck in the category.
