A message from Maire-Claire Reid

My brother John Reid, a founding member of TST Transport, tragically lost his life on 17th September 2015, 19 days after he was involved in a car accident.

He lived his short 21 years to the absolute full, he loved life and never had a dull day. He was known by many people through his love for cars and lorries. #GoOnJohn became fondly attached to him after an incident in Letterkenny and, to this day, keeps his memory alive.

He is missed sorely every day by me, my mum Mary and dad Liam and all our family and friends. We are heartbroken and our lives will never be the same again without John he truly was ONE IN A MILLION.

We decided to form a charity called The John Reid Foundation to help raise money for people with brain trauma injuries and rehabilitation. After watching first-hand the truly amazing around-the-clock care given by the nurses in the Intensive Care Unit in The Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast where John was for 19 days. We want to help give something back.
